Climate: Grows best in temperate climates but can adapt to subtropical regions with care.   Types of Strawberry Plants: June-bearing: Produces a large crop once a year, typically in late spring to early summer. Everbearing: Produces two to three harvests a year—one in spring, one in summer, and sometimes in fall. Day-neutral: Produces fruit continuously throughout the growing season, as long as temperatures are between 35°F and 85°F (1.6°C to 29°C).
